Pre-season

Northwich began the pre-season having made many changes to their squad; the previous season was generally perceived as a disappointment with the club expected to reach the playoffs, however several games were arranged in order for the new members squad to integrate. A match was arranged with Romanian side Universitatea Cluj however this was cancelled due to Cluj having to abandon their trip to England.[2] A match between Cluj and Valencia at the Victoria Stadium was also cancelled.
